People Can Fly is giving out an appreciation package for To make up for the server issues Outriders ran

Outriders has been a blast to play since launch, but the Square Enix title from People Can Fly has been anything but perfect. No game is, especially at launch. But as unreliable as the game’s servers have been over the last week, the Dev team behind the scenes and the community managers in the trenches have been top notch. Players have been appropriately vocal about the problems they’ve experienced with the game and the team has taken it all in. So what now? Enter: The first major patch for Outriders.

The popular looter shooter was unplayable for many in the handful of days after it came out as connectivity issues prevented login. The problem got so bad that PC and console matchmaking had to be disabled.

To make up for the server issues Outriders ran into after launch, developer People Can Fly is giving out an “appreciation package” which includes a Legendary weapon.

“Throughout all of this we really appreciated all your messages of support and encouragement and they helped us power through and improve the situation,” a Square Enix representative said on Reddit. “We would like to thank each and every one of you. Beyond just saying it, however, we would like to confirm that we are working on a small ‘appreciation package’ for our launch window players.”

As for the package, it will be received by all players who played Outriders between March 31 and April 11, as well as those who have been faced with a bug that erases the players’ inventory. This package will include a legendary weapon, some Titanium and an emote “Frustration”. Unfortunately there is no release date yet.
